Comments: Sunset is at 17:58 at the Cocos (97e) so at my current location (87e) it should be about 40m later, 18:38. There were clouds in the horizon, so I could not see the sunset, but this was about right. With no commercial traffic predicted last night, steady winds, no storms predicted, and because the wind vane had operated 48h without any problems, I set my sleep intervals for 90m last night and got a good night’s sleep. Sunrise is at 17:48 at the Cocos (97e) so at my current location (86e) it should be about 44m later, 6:32. While it is largely cloudless this morning, clouds on the eastern horizon prevented me from seeing the sunrise. It appears I will have a couple of nice days of sailing. Monday brings mid-30s winds. The distance sailed towards Rodrigues in the last 24h was 1399-1265=134 nm. The total distance sailed was 12337-12195=142 nm (142/24=5.92 kt avg.).
