Comments: I woke at 3:00 … sweaty. The weather cannot make its mind up if it hot or cold. I furled the spinnaker I sewed yesterday at first light, 4:30, before the wind picks up. I am going to leave it suspended this morning to try to dry it out a bit before stowing it. It was a good thing I got it furled because the wind picked up at dawn The ECMWF updates about 9:00, so I will download a new GRIB then. I am going to ready the boat today and do some cooking tomorrow. This morning’s update of the ECMWF has not changed much. If anything, the forecast looks better (PE to Hout Bay in 2.25 days). I treated the sail bag for mold (bleached it) and repacked the asymm. I organized the V-berth and the starboard settee area. I met the crew of Horizon, a 50’ aluminum ketch from the Netherlands that I have seen on the AIS many times. They arrived yesterday. Notice: I forgot to post this yesterday afternoon.
