Comments: I was able to get some ant repellent from West Island yesterday and treated the infestation below my starboard main winch. I pulled supplies from the far reaches of the boat today to restock my pantry. I took a water taxi at 10:30 to the Home Island to check it out, walked around a bit and bought a few groceries before returning by water taxi about 13:30. I did some research for the next passage in the afternoon and joined a beach party attended by the several dozen sailors at anchor here about 16:00. I got back to the boat about 17:45, just as some very threatening clouds and high wind showed up. It is supposed to be 20-24 kt winds tonight with gusts close to 30. The wind will lighten up the next two days and it shouldn’t rain. The rain will come back Monday. I will do a few fun things tomorrow , then get the boat ready and cook on Sunday for a departure Monday morning.
