Cleaned the inside of the cabin this morning, including treating for mold. I met with biosecurity (who charged me $400 for 15 minutes work). I also met with the ABF, while claimed I was not responding to e-mails I never received. They tell me it is unlikely they will be able to process my exit until Tuesday. This is very disappointing. I tried to get a chart for Ashmore Reef, but the resolution was not adequate to navigate within the boundaries of the reef. Returned to the plumbing store to exchange the metic lines they mistakenly sold me yesterday for the correct ones with NPT threads. I have the rental care for part of the morning and plan to provision. It won\u2019t do any good to buy perishables because they are likely to go off before I ever get off. I\u2019ll focus on replenishing some non-perishables that I am running low on. To finish with some really good news, the passage from TI invoked some very rough waters in the gulf the buried the starboard past the toe rail and I find no evidence of water in the fuel I am pumping out of the main tank, so rerouting the vent line seems to have worked. It\u2019s been a good couple of days for the engine. I will note I couldn\u2019t get much over 5 kt today. I suspect it\u2019s the fouling of the hull. Despite having the hull professionally cleaned in Vanuatu, it has a huge amount of growth from TI and Darwin.
